Shea butter, also known as shea butter or karite butter, is a traditional nourishing product that has been used in cosmetic products for centuries. It is rich in vitamin A and E and gentle enough to hydrate the entire body. Melt shea butter in a bain-marie so that the oil does not get too hot. The melting point of shea butter is about 40 degrees Celsius.

This refined butter has been stripped of the typical scent of shea butter. The scent can sometimes be perceived as less pleasant for cosmetic use. Despite this processing, you can still detect a very light scent.
